Manager Notes:
  • Does this position have the opportunity to extend beyond the initial contract or convert to FTE? At this time, I do not have a backfill or upcoming planned FTE req to fill
  • Based on the job description, what are the must have non-negotiable items that a candidate must have to be successful in this role?Ultimately, we're looking for a strong candidate with 3-6 years manual testing experience. I need them to be self-sufficient, resourceful, and comfortable working in an agile team supporting the testing of new features. We are freeing up capacity for the existing QE on the team to burn down on our automation/performance backlogs. Majority of the team is located in Chicago, but some are elsewhere. It would be ideal if they can match their schedule to CDT as close as possible (but we can be flexible)
  • What backgrounds/skills can we be more flexible with that can be learned on the job? If they have automation experience that would be great but not required
  • Does this position require to sit onsite or travel to an SN office? Ideally they are located in the Chicago area and might have the opportunity to meet/collaborate with the Chicago team. This is not required - the best candidate can be located elsewhere in the US and will not need to travel to the office.
  • Does this person have to work in a specific time zone? (e.g. - If a person on the East Coast can work PST, is that ok?) CDT preferred. PST is ok, but there will be some early meetings at times.
