Maintains and administers documents under his/her ownership: Control Plans, PFMEAs, Work Instructions, Visual aids, etc.

Evaluates and recommends quality assurance equipment designed by others and participates in Gage R & R studies.

Assists in the establishment of quality objectives to continuously improve the systems that control product quality.

Leads the efforts of the cross-functional teams involved in solving all quality concerns.

Recommends and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.

Develops sampling procedures, designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.

Supports the internal quality auditing system.

Establishes programs to evaluate the precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities.

Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility.

Provides technical support to all production departments to ensure that all product quality requirements are being met.

Initiates and implements programs aimed at improving the quality of operations and reducing the total cost of quality.

Directs workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability.

Maintains a system to implement visual aids throughout the plant.

Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities.

Maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods and training procedures necessary to ensure total process control with documentation throughout the department.

Assists in the development of all new training programs to assure employee productivity and product quality.

Monitors continuous improvement and IATF16949 standards for conformance and accuracy.

Performs related duties and projects as required.
