Volt is hiring a Quality Engineer in Denton, TX with an industry leader. In this role you will be

responsible for overseeing and conducting final quality for UL508A, UL67, and UL891 Panel Shop. The candidate will ensure that all products meet the required industry standards and customer specifications.

As a Quality Engineer you will:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality control plan for each project to ensure compliance with all applicable UL standards.
  • Perform final inspections of electrical control panels and switchgear in accordance with UL508A, UL67, and UL891 standards.
  • Develop and execute quality control plans for each project, tailoring them to meet customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, including UL MTR (Manufacturer's Technical Representative) certifications for UL508A and UL891 panels.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive measures to address quality issues.
  • Maintain and update quality control documentation, inspection records, and project reports.
  • Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality standards and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and advancements related to UL standards and quality control processes.
This is a full-time, DIRECT HIRE opportunity.

The Ideal Candidate will have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a QA/QC role within an electrical panel manufacturing environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of UL508A, UL67, and UL891 standards is required.
  • UL MTR (Manufacturer's Technical Representative) certification in UL508A and UL891 is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of electrical panel manufacturing processes, quality control methodologies, and industry best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Proficient in using quality management systems and tools.

Salary: $75-100K annually
