Piper Companies is looking for Quality Inspector V to ensure products meet the regulatory standards working for a leading global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices in Depew, NY.

Responsibilities for the Quality Inspector V include:
  • Completion of incoming inspection activities
  • First Article Inspection activities.
  • Final Product Verification and Audit Release functions.
  • Creation of Engineering Sample Inspection Report
  • Interface with Manufacturing, Engineering and supplier personnel to analyze and isolate product quality problems.


Qualifications for the Quality Inspector V include:
  • AAS or higher degree
  • 3+ years of experience - Metrology Technical expert
  • Exp/ability to demonstrate use of various measurement gauges: (CMM, Optical comparator, micrometer, caliper, height gauge, Oscilloscope etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Exp with MS Word,Excel, MS Access, ERP systems, EQMS (Compliant plus) and Calibration databases


Compensation for the Quality Inspector include:
  • $24.85/hour
    • w/ Voluntary O.T either before or after the normal shift & Saturdays 6a-11a or 7a-11a ( averaging 5-10 hours per week)
  • Shift: 7am - 3:30 pm
  • START DATE by END OF MAY 2025
