About the Role: We are looking for a Quality Management System Specialist to join our AAA Excluder and Assembled Components team. Associates in this position are responsible for originating and managing quality objects and other items with technical impact in the Quality Management System while closely partnering with cross-functional teams.

This role will be located at our facility in Phoenix, Arizona.

Responsibilities:
  • Originate and facilitate objects and items (e.g., Non-Conforming Reports, Change Orders, Observation Reports) within our PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system while ensuring process steps are followed and the verbiage documented is clear, concise, and compliant with proper grammar, punctuation, and technical accuracy
  • Compile data from multiple appropriate/valid sources to ensure quality object's requirements are captured and documented appropriately
  • Create working partnerships with cross-functional teams, facilitating resolutions and quality processes while holding themselves and others accountable to agreed-upon timelines
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements while supporting simplified, scalable, and sustainable processes
  • Shift focus and manage workload based on a dynamic environment with changing priorities
  • Participate in regulatory agency inspections and/or internal audit activities and appropriately represent documented quality items to internal and external auditors
  • Ensure individual disciplines and processes align with team processes and expectations
  • Maintain compliance with training expectations as required for this position
  • Additional responsibilities as required within the scope of position


Required Qualifications:
  • Experience writing/revising Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and generating and executing Change Orders (CO's) or Non-Conforming Reports (NCRs)
  • Experience working with quality or production system data across systems and processes
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in working independently and in team environments with initiative, self-motivation, and ability to be self-directed
  • Demonstrated time management and prioritization of multiple commitments with a track record of meeting deadlines as well as holding oneself and others accountable to timelines
  • Proficient in Agile PLM , MS Word, and basic knowledge of MS Excel with application and systems learning aptitude
  • Basic understanding of root cause analysis and continuous improvement tools
  • Familiar with technical documentation (e.g., risk management, design control, equipment, and process validation)
  • Demonstrated ability to develop rapport and trust with team members with strong interpersonal and influencing, be flexible, and successfully adapt to a dynamic and changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a quality focus and attention to detail to make decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to document information in a clear, concise, and compliant manner with proper grammar, punctuation, and accuracy

  • Deep knowledge and experience utilizing continuous improvement tools
  • Project management skills with demonstrated ability to initiate, prioritize, and complete projects with analytical skills with strong quality focus
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and convey technical information in verbal and written form
