Job Summary
The position involves conducting Requirement Consumption Reviews with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, and customer requirements. The role requires reporting findings to management and actively participating in the development of preventive or corrective actions.
Responsibilities
- Act as RCR facilitator, leading preparation sessions with Engineering, Supplier Management, and Suppliers.
- Schedule and lead on-site RCR events.
- Review supplier quality requirements and ensure preparedness of Engineering and Supplier Management for key technical information reviews.
- Provide education on QMS Requirements and understand supplier QMS approvals.
- Document RCR results comprehensively and offer recommendations to support quality objectives.
- Collect, verify, and categorize action items resulting from RCR events.
- Collaborate with other functions to develop corrective actions and see them through to closure.
Skills
- Strong communication skills for facilitating meetings and educating stakeholders.
- Analytical skills for compiling and analyzing performance reports.
- Attention to detail in documenting results and tracking action items.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in quality management systems.
- Certification in quality management is a plus.
