Open Position: Quick Lane Automotive Service Technician

Summary: Quick Lane Automotive Service Technicians efficiently complete routine maintenance (changing oil & filters, inspecting and replacing bulbs, belts, and hoses, adjusting and cleaning brakes, etc.) QL Technicians work hands-on at our dealership alongside professionals in the industry and become familiar with all vehicle makes and models. In addition to mechanical work, technicians use computers and various interfaces to diagnose and complete work.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, including:
• Changing oil and filters
• Inspecting and replacing bulbs, belts, and hoses
• Assessing, adjusting, and cleaning brakes
• Battery service, brake work, alignments
• Tire changing and exchanges of fluids
• Inform team advisor of any additional safety concerns regarding customer vehicles
• Assure quality control with all vehicles through safe practices
• Begin hands-on training and Ford curriculum certification
• Maintain an energetic, professional, and positive personality throughout the workday
• Maintains professional appearance
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Preferred, not required - Experience in auto service or recent completion of an auto tech program or trade school. Company will provide training for inexperienced individuals who meet other requirements
• Possess your own set of tools (Preferred, not required)
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work in a team-based environment
• At least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Must be able to submit and clean background check

Compensation:

$16.00 - $20.00/hour

Work Hours & Schedule:

8 hour work day, 40 hours per week
