Summary
The University of Michigan Department of Radiation Oncology invites applications for a Clinical Assistant, Clinical Associate, or Clinical Professor board certified/eligible Radiation Oncologist to lead the Radiation Oncology service at University of Michigan Health ? Sparrow in Lansing, MI. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to work successfully within a multidisciplinary team. This is full time, primarily clinical position and would support multiple disease sites based on department needs at Sparrow. This position will act as the Director of the Radiation Oncology service with dedicated effort to work collaboratively with leaders at the Herbert-Herman Cancer Center at University of Michigan Health - Sparrow to develop and maintain top tier cancer care for the Lansing community.

Required Qualifications*
Medical degree with completion of residency training in Radiation Oncology in an ACGME-certified program. Board Certified or Board eligible by the American Board of Radiology. Possess expertise in a variety of radiation treatment methods. Hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses for the state of Michigan. Previous record of publications in scientific journals, research and teaching is desirable.
Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to advocate for department staff, faculty, and patients in a leadership capacity.
Desired Qualifications*
7+ years of experience delivering clinical radiation in a multidisciplinary oncology setting.
