Position Summary:

We are seeking an organized, efficient IT technician to join our organization. An ideal candidate is customer service driven, has good troubleshooting skills, and is a fast learner. In this position, you will with interface team members to troubleshoot issues real-time, setup conference rooms and presentations, and manage help desk tickets. You will also work with Wright-Patterson AFB to image laptops, maintain SIPRNet accounts, and perform software installs.

Communication and collaboration are key as you will work with other UDRI personnel and be responsible for the organization and execution of all information technology within the Hangar facility. The ideal candidate will work with other staff to carry out the support and maintenance of existing applications and development of new technical solutions. This position is also the alternate Cybersecurity Liaison for the RSO.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Min 5 years of experience managing IT systems and help desk
• Experience with installation and maintenance of hardware, software, and peripheral components
• Security+ Certification
• Microsoft Workstation experience including Windows 10/11 and MS365
• Network and software troubleshooting skills
• Experience in customer-facing support roles
• Excellent written communication skills
• Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision
• Effective verbal communication with clients at all levels
• Successful collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team
• Consistent, professional dress and manner
• Due to requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, candidates for this position must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

• 5+ years managing IT systems
• Demonstrated understanding of cybersecurity and audience targeting
• SharePoint Administration experience
• Macintosh Operating System experience
• Experience with AV equipment
• 1 year minimum NIPRNet experience
• IT related certifications, including CompTia A+
• Ability to support a variety of devices with on-site and remote support
• Tier 1 and Tier 3 clearance (CaC and SIPR)
• Understanding of Remote Access capabilities and functionality
• Ability to work on a multi-disciplinary team
• Willing to work some weekends and evenings
• Ability to travel on a limited basis
• Experience with digital signage
