As a Real Estate Loan Officer, you will originate mortgage and home equity loan products on residential real estate. You will be the primary point of contact for members throughout the transaction. This role provides driven and highly motivated individuals the opportunity to network with IAACU members, the COUNTRY agency sales force and other professionals throughout the communities we serve. Our Real Estate Loan Officers are also encouraged and supported to build their own personal sphere of influence and realtor networks. IAACU is committed to growing our member base and the real estate loan department is a critical component to that growth.

This position is based out of our corporate office in Bloomington, IL five days per week.

How does a Real Estate Loan Officer make an impact?

• Serves as initial point of contact for credit union members interested in attaining real estate-secured loans and maintains open communication with members and outside vendors throughout the application and approval process.
• Establishes, maintains and grows member relationships in order to continually provide credit union solutions that meet member needs.
• Looks for opportunities to cross sell additional IAACU products.
• Performs application interviews and answers questions about loan products and services.
• Calculates and secures accurate interest rates for residential mortgages based on loan variables insuring fair pricing to the member and adequate income to the credit union.
• Makes recommendations for loan decisioning to appropriate parties.
