Chipton-Ross is seeking 4 Real Time Software Engineers for a contract opportunity in Hazelwood, MO.
*This position is 100% ONSITE.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning (TMP) System.The TMP program provides the US Navy with Innovative, Modernization and Maintenance software releases supporting Tomahawk Missile Mission Planning. Join our passionate and highly motivated team that is enthusiastic to be leading the US Navy's critical Tomahawk mission planning technology. You will be responsible for all aspects of TMP lifecycle software development. Regular and predictable attendance is required
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and maintain code, unit test and integrate software components into the TMP system.
• Develop, document and maintain architectures, requirements, interfaces, designs and algorithms for TMP system.
• Collaborate with software development team to share expertise and knowledge.
• Development, selection, tailoring and deployment of software processes, tools and metrics.
• Execution and documentation of software research, development projects and trade studies.
• Development of software verification plans, test procedures and test environments.
• Provides technical solutions for a diverse range of challenges.
• Implementation of TMP and Industry standard software processes.
• Collaboration with and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
• You work under general direction.
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proficiency in VB.Net, SQL, and C++
• Experience in all aspects of designing and implementing system architecture, requirements, software and software testing
DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Knowledge of Ada and FORTRAN
• Experience with software design and development tools such as PowerShell, SlickEdit or Subversion
• Experience with Navigation Modeling and Flight Simulation
EDUCATION:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
(e.g.Bachelor's Degree, with 5 or more years' experience, Master's Degree with 3 or more years' experience or PHD Degree with experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
WORK HOURS: FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
