Schedule: First Shift, 20 hrs/wk, schedule may vary between shift hours of 6:30a-3p or 9:00a-5:30p, weekend and holiday rotation

Summary:
Performs routine clerical duties, files, answers phones, and assists physicians, etc. Enters patient data into computer system.

Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Knowledge.

Minimum Work Experience:
- One (1) year previous office experience is required.
- Previous typing and/or computer terminal experience is required.
- Good grammar and English are essential for this position.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.

- Dresses in accordance with the dress code policy. Always properly wears Summa identification badge above waist level and facing forward at all times.
- Apparel is always clean, professional, tasteful, tidy, and discreet. Maintains good personal hygiene.
- Follows safety procedures at all times; proactively takes steps to maintain safety of customers. Uses proper body mechanics and assistive devices as needed.
- Complies with Summa policies regarding confidentiality, privacy, safety, and security.
- Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.
