We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and dedicated Senior Recruiting Specialist to support the Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center and its portfolio of staff searches. This role will lead and manage the full life cycle of recruitment for all non-CTO positions.

The Non-CTO Recruiter will have a significant impact on attracting the next generation of staff. The ideal candidate will be a professional with significant, demonstrated experience in building and maintaining trusted relationships in a complex environment, developing robust recruitment strategies whilst contributing to a high performing team.

Position responsibilities:
  • Develop effective recruitment strategies by taking a consultative approach with hiring teams
  • Utilize innovative sourcing techniques to find, connect and recruit top talent.
  • Partner with hiring manager and HRP to produce quality job specifications and descriptions
  • Design a proactive approach to reaching passive candidates. Develop strategies to attract passive candidates.
  • Post robust job ads on institution site, social media channels, and relevant professional sites and job boards
  • Cultivate a network of potential candidates through proactive market research, events and on-going relationship management
  • Manage resume, cover letter, and application evaluation process
  • Conduct phone screens to deliver the best qualified candidates to meet the institutions needs
  • Plan, facilitate, and serve as point of contact for key meetings, interviews and campus visits
  • Maintain a solid understanding of industry trends and provide insight into the competitive landscape
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
  • Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Attend various industry events and career fairs
