Position Details:
• Title: Refrigeration Field Service Engineer
• Location: Live anywhere on east coast near major airport
• Compensation: $40/HR to $50/HR (depending on experience) plus OT

• Travel: Must be available and willing to travel, domestically and internationally as needed, and be available for specific emergency on-call work. Depending upon business needs travel can vary greatly to as high as 80-90% of the time. Typically travel out on Monday and home on Friday.

Position Description:
Provide on-site and remote service support for company products, based in a remote home office in the US. You would be working on ultra-low temperature refrigeration systems as well as more conventional -20°c stores. Experience of these ultra-low temperature systems is not essential as training will be provided. Perform basic/routine customer support activities involving the installation, modification, repair and preventive maintenance of company's equipment and systems generally at customer sites, to ensure proper working order. Other responsibilities include:
• Instruct and train customers on proper system usage Attain Equipment Service and Operation Certification on equipment and systems. Submit reports, such as Service and Status Reports, complete service reports, record work completed in ERP system and communicate results.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment, sound engineer and good refrigeration practices, and communicate any improvements to the Engineering department.
• Evaluate the performance and gather data of refrigeration systems that may be used by refrigeration engineers for cooling repairs.
• Productively react to changing priorities such as Tool or Line down and escalations and support organizational and administrative duties.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years related "hands-on" work experience or military technical training is required of commercial/industrial refrigeration systems. Refrigerant handling qualification (EPA) preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to read and quickly understand wiring schematics.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills, able to handle problems independently and implement corrective action.
• Valid driver's license & good record, able to obtain valid passport and credit card for expenses.
• Must meet requirements of background screening.
