Job title: Regional Sales Director
Purpose:
The role of the Regional Sales Director is to consistently achieve desired business results, positively influence customers, and develop and facilitate the continued growth of the Internal and External Retail Regional Sales Team. The responsibilities range from leading, motivating, training, and directing the Territory Managers to accomplish the corporate goals. The Regional Sales Director's duties are the implementation, motivation and management of all sales related corporate programs. Communication of any specific sales programs to internal support teams and external customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Possesses flooring Industry knowledge,
•Possesses ability to motivate team members,
•Possesses superior knowledge of vinyl flooring, wood flooring and laminate flooring,
•Possesses the ability to learn and understand the Company's internal/external procedures to help address any customer needs or problems,
•Possesses in-depth knowledge and understanding of the flooring industry, as well as an understanding of flooring retailers, processes and the role the Company plays in this process,
•Possesses a full understanding of the Territory Manager's job and ability to demonstrate the complete sales process - selling, order processing, claim processing, communicating with internal support teams, as well-as problem solving,
•Sets the pace for the accomplishment of corporate goals and objectives through positive reinforcement, strategic thinking, and the development of KPI's and consistent management and measuring of retail sales results,
•Travels monthly with Territory Manager's to expand growth and add Key Accounts,
•Communicates effectively and has mastered the selling process at the Territory Manager level to be an effective "coach."
