• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
Licensure/Certification
• Current Texas RN License
• Current BLS & ACLS upon hire

• Minimum five (5) years' experience as a RN in a critical care hospital unit or a Medical/Surgical department

Registered Nurse Post Surgical Unit Clinical Coordinator at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club:
- Under the supervision of the director, the supervisor is responsible for the director with operational issues related to coordination of patient care, development of employees, utilization of resources, and performance improvement thereby achieving an environment of excellence in clinical quality, safety and service by supporting the hospital mission, vision and facility goals.
- The supervisor helps identify cost-effective systems needed to support the business of the department.
- The supervisor maintains compliance with professional nursing, TJC and all federal/state standards of care.
- This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies including patients, physicians, employees and vendors.
- The supervisor works with Senior Leadership in meeting facility goals.
- The supervisor helps to oversee the Post-Surgical Unit as delegated by the director; functions as a staff nurse and/or charge nurse, as necessary.
