The cutting-edge Verstandig Pavilion is equipped with\rall-private inpatient rooms and state-of-the-art medical equipment, ensuring an\renvironment that prioritizes excellence in patient care. Each specialized IMC\rshares a floor with its own Intensive Care Unit (ICU), promoting seamless\rpatient throughput between different acuities.
This 28-bed unit is a certified by The Joint Commission as\ra comprehensive stroke center, setting the hospital's treatment of stroke\rpatients among the best in the nation. MedStar Georgetown is now one of only\r156 healthcare organizations in the United States to have earned this\rcertification in highly-specialized stroke care. Our Neurotele/Stroke\rdepartment is one of MedStar Georgetown's three collaborative inpatient\rNeurological/Neurosurgical Units which are part of our nationally renowned\rNeurosciences Center of Excellence. The patient population served here is\rprimarily Ischemic Stroke Patients, Post-acute Hemorrhagic Stroke Patients, and\rother Neurosurgery and Neurology patients requiring telemetry monitoring.

As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.

Qualifications

- \r
- ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required. \r
- Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred. \r
- Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required. \r\r
