  • Work location: Texas Health Southwest, 6100 Harris Parkway, Fort Worth, TX 76132
  • Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week, working collaboratively based on case load to cover the M-F staffing needs

Here's What You Need

• Associate degree or Nursing Diploma required.

• BSN preferred.

• One-year experience as a registered nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.

• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire.

• Current BLS prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly.

• 2+ years of strong Med/surg RN experience in acute care or wound care setting including charge/preceptor skills (preferred)

• CHRN - Certified Hyperbaric Registered Nurse 12 Months Pref Or

• CWCN - Certified Wound Care Nurse 12 Months Pref Or

• CWON - Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse 12 Months Pref Or

• CWOCN - Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse 12 Months Pref

What You Will Do

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process

• Responsible for delivery of wound care and hyperbaric treatments as order by physician

• Work with other team members to resolve patient issues

• Ensure communication with other care providers is timely, accurate and complete.

• Utilize evidence -based practice to administer wound care.
