Job Description:
To oversee the quality and scope of services provided on the assigned service line (traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke/CVA or spinal cord injury (SCI) within Rehabilitation Services. To develop therapy programs, facilitate the development of staff through establishing standards of care, mentoring, education and development of performance metrics that measure the quality of patient care. To provide coaching support and clinical growth opportunities. To perform duties of a therapist as needed.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Therapy and five (5) years' experience as a therapist, three (3) years of which must have been experience treating the primary patient population of the assigned service (traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke/CVA or spinal cord injury (SCI)). Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, or Physical Therapist by the appropriate State of Alabama Board required. Currently certified with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required.
