REMOTE Business Analyst (Accounting/finance & D365)

A client local to the Lake Oswego, OR area is looking for a fully remote Business Analyst with a background in accounting/finance. The initial project that this individual will support is a companywide ERP implementation of Dynamics 365 F&O. This system handles all finance and operations for the manufacturing and production arm of the company. There are three major go-lives that are underway, one already being launched, and the two others taking place this year. This resource will start off supporting these go-lives and providing hyper-care by reviewing tickets submitted by vendors, gathering the requirements from these tickets, and assisting the finance and IT teams with creating a solution. Tickets vary from errors with purchase orders, submitting change orders and working directly with banks, working with the vendors if the software solutions arent working properly and helping to create an alternative solution, etc. Ultimately, they will be the liaison between the vendors, users, technical teams, and finance teams; therefore, communication and a high-level understanding of accounting and finance are extremely important for this role. When the go-lives are completed, this individual will transition to less of a support role of the D365 implementation to more project-based work within the organization to assist with gaps in requirements, enhancements, upgrades, and solutions.

Required Skills & Experience
College diploma or university degree or equivalent work experience or 8+ years related work experience.
Extensive experience with Microsoft D365
Background/high-level understanding of Accounting & Finance.
Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development.
Experience overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
Ability to create systematic and consistent requirements specifications in both technical and user-friendly language.
Ability to apply analytical and statistical skills to systems issues and products as required.
Proficient in product management
Proficient in application and software development life cycle concepts.
Experience with an ERP system (D365 F&O preferred)
Formal Business Analysis education, certification, or training.
Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple projects at a time.
Ability to communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements verbally or through written documentation to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are well understood.
Ability to document user requirements through a variety of methods such as interviews, workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, and scenarios. These analyses are used to collaborate with stakeholders on a project-by-project basis to establish scope, parameters, and prioritize requirements.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Bilingual in Spanish is a HUGE plus.
Working knowledge of Azure DevOps
Professional experience specifically working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O (Finance and Operations).
Experience in manufacturing, logistics or transportation.
