Our client is seeking a Cloud Engineer that is experienced with at least 5 years of experience. The ideal candidate is able to work independently during and share knowledge to the team.

Job Duties: Analyzes and defines business requirements to determine specifications and standards; proposes and develops solutions.
Deploys and oversees implementation and integration of web-based applications, ensuring that appropriate information security standards are met.
Maintains reports, logs, or other records of security audits. Monitors system uptime and performance, troubleshooting and resolving errors.
Stays informed of emerging cloud technologies and evaluates their value to the organization's operations. Typically requires experience with one or more cloud computing platforms.

Experience and Education: Performs work under direct supervision. Handles advanced issues and works with peers and vendor support to issue completion. Has working to advanced knowledge of subject matter.

Required Skills & Experience

5 years of overall Systems Administration / Cloud Engineering experience
5 years of experience with AWS (Serverless)
Experience with Federal, State, PCI, SOC, and FedRAMP regulations.
Experience with Git, Terraform, Ansible and Python
Working with multiple teams to suggest, design, and implement high-availability solutions in AWS GovCloud.
Experience automating complex tasks

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

CompTIA Security + or equivalent preferred
