Remote Security Operations Engineer

Our client is the number one hybrid packaging company that is looking to mature their security program. They are seeking a Security Operations Engineer to lead the operational activity including vulnerability management, alerts, incident response, vendor communication, and more. They will partner with their IT and Engineering teams to communicate, train, and implement effective security processes around threat response, incident management, etc. The Security Operations Engineer is expected to take a proactive approach and provide potential solutions related to security operations.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of Security Operations experience (SOC background)
Strong experience with threat hunting, conducting analysis, engaging with IT/Engineering team to remediate, and working with the 3rd party vendor
Experience with Cyber Kill Chain technique
Strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework and OWASP 10 principles
Experience with CrowdStrike XDR or another XDR tool
Experience with SIEM (ex: Sumo Logic, ArticWolf, etc.)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience participating in red or purple team activity
