REMOTE Sr. Payroll Specialist

Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Payroll Specialist to support one of their clients in the Greater Tampa Bay area. This person will be responsible for monitoring and confirming the customers payroll systems and processes to ensure compliance with state, federal and local payroll rules and regulations. They will conduct weekly and quarterly audits of current payroll set-ups to certify compliance and reporting.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong understanding and experience with Payroll
fundamentals and US Payroll Tax
4+ years of experience with payroll processing
Experience evaluating and analyzing technical payroll activities
Experience with prevailing wage requirements

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
