This position reports directly to Dr. Ian Corbin, Principal Investigator on the "Buffering, Porosity, and Brain Health in Uganda" project. The research assistant position also reports to the other Principal Investigator on the project (Dr. Cyrus Olsen III), Dr. Amar Dhand, and all supporting staff (HR, payroll, etc). The position will require between 10-20 hours per week depending on workflow.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The research assistant will work directly under the Principal Investigators and help with all day-to-day needs. Clerical and administrative work will be the regular day-to-day responsibility of the RA (sending emails, creating meeting invites, etc). To supplement the day-to-day administrative work, the RA will assist with the accounting for the Templeton grant, create progress reports for the grant organization, process interview data, create expense reports for all expenses related to the project, attend monthly lab meetings, and assist with any additional requests made by the project leads.

  • Ability to follow directions and protocol requirements.
