Insight Global is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the Research Accounting team at the top Orthopedic Hospital system in the country! This person will be responsible for utilizing EPIC to review research-related patient activity as well as utilizing the Clinical Trial Management System to analyze contracts and handle related billing activity. Other responsibilities include tracking clinical trial AR, preparation, and completion of clinical trial account analysis, updating monthly deficit lists, and process cash receipts. Team members will rely on this person to get information on the Uniform Grand Guidance annual audit. The ability to be flexible is key as this organization is rolling out a new Financial Management system in Q3 of this year. This person will be working alongside 2 other accountants.

Required Skills & Experience

At least 3+ years of accounting experience
Bachelors degree in accounting (Minor or MBA in accounting will also suffice)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Proven experience utilizing a computerized general ledger system.
Experience handling grants both budgeting and allocation.
Open to an everchanging environment and adaptability
COVID-19 Vaccination

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Workday experience (huge plus)
Experience accounting for clinical research.
Experience utilizing EPIC.
Hands on experience being a part of projects outside of day-to-day responsibilities.
Utilization of a Clinical Trial Management System
