Now Hiring: Resident Care Coordinator

Responsibilities of a Resident Care Coordinator:

• Coordinate and oversee the delivery of resident care services by established policies and procedures.
• Assess resident needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Supervise and support nursing staff, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and healthcare professionals to facilitate effective communication and care coordination.
• Monitor resident progress and respond to any changes or concerns promptly.
• Provide guidance and support to staff members to promote a positive work environment and ensure the delivery of exceptional care.

Qualifications of a Resident Care Coordinator:

• A Bachelor's degree in health care administration, nursing, social work or a related field
• Proven experience in long-term care or assisted living.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to interact effectively with residents, families, staff and other visitors.
• Excellent organizational, communication, problem solving and customer service skills.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Empathy and understanding of elderly care needs.
