Job Description

Position Overview:
Under direct supervision, performs a variety of basic and routine respiratory supportive functions. Serves as a Respiratory Aide by assembling, inspecting and maintaining equipment in efficient
operating condition, cleans and sterilizes equipment and monitors/manages our clinical supply inventory.
Responsibilities:
• Cleaning and disinfecting equipment
• Ventilator hours - meter readings
• Delivery of oxygen cylinders to all floors and clinics
• Restocking of Emergency Code Boxes
• Equipment inventory
• Working with the Biomedical Engineering Dept. in the Preventive Maintenance Program
• Equipment assembly, distribution and assisting with equipment recalls/updates
• Ventilator Pre-Use check, circuit changes and filter changes
• Assists in preparation of records and reports as directed
• Performs any other related functions

Minimum Qualifications

Qualification Requirements:
1. High School graduation or High School Equivalency Diploma, plus one year as a Nurse's Aide or related capacity; or,
2. Satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience.
