Aspirus Wausau Hospital is seeking Respiratory Therapy Assistants to work under a limited scope of service, supervised by a licensed RT! In this paid position, you will gain real-world experience while completing your Respiratory Therapy degree.

• Report to supervisors or therapists, verbally or in writing, on patients' progress, attitudes, attendance, and accomplishments.
• Prepare and maintain work area, materials, and equipment and maintain inventory of treatment and educational supplies.
• Transport patients to and from the occupational therapy work area.
• Perform clerical, administrative, and secretarial duties, such as answering phones, restocking and ordering supplies, filling out paperwork, and scheduling appointments.

Hours

• This is an occasional role only which may include all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be an Active Respiratory Therapy Student in your "Senior Year"; You must have completed your initial competencies for basic respiratory cares
