JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) Intro
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our JBoss EAP infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of our enterprise applications.

On behalf of one of our clients, Procom Services is looking for a JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) consultant for a 4 month plus remote project.

We have 2 roles that we are looking to fille. Ideally looking for someone to work on our W2 directly.

JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Red Hat JBoss EAP environments across development, testing, and production systems
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and security fixes to ensure optimal performance and security
- Monitor JBoss EAP instances for performance, availability, and resource utilization
- Troubleshoot and resolve JBoss EAP related issues, including application deployments, cluster configurations, and integration with other systems
- Implement and manage high-availability clustering solutions for JBoss EAP
- Optimize JBoss EAP configurations for maximum performance and scalability
- Develop and maintain documentation for JBoss EAP administration procedures, best practices, and troubleshooting guides
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline application deployment processes and improve overall system efficiency
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies for JBoss EAP environments
- Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning activities
- Stay current with the latest developments in JBoss EAP and related technologies

JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) Mandatory Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience administering Red Hat JBoss EAP in enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of Java EE application servers and enterprise application architectures
- Proficiency in Linux/UNIX administration
- Experience with application deployment and management in JBoss EAP
- Familiarity with JBoss CLI (Command Line Interface) for server management
- Understanding of clustering and load balancing concepts in JBoss EAP
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of Java applications
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) Desired Skills
- Red Hat Certified JBoss Administrator (RHCJA) certification
