Job Description

Job Description: The MuleSoft Anypoint Application Programming Interface (API) Designer role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining APIs using MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform. This role involves configuring and integrating different systems, ensuring efficient API development, and managing release processes. The primary goal is to enable seamless communication and data exchange between various software applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• API Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design APIs that meet business requirements and promote reusability and scalability.

• Development: Utilize MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform to develop APIs, ensuring they are robust, reliable, and performant.

• Integration: Implement integrations between different systems, databases, and applications to enable seamless data flow and communication.

• Configuration & Release Management: Manage the configuration and release processes, ensuring that updates and changes to APIs are properly documented and rolled out efficiently (P3 - Advanced).

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to API performance, connectivity, and data transformation.

• Security: Implement security measures and best practices to protect APIs and data against unauthorized access and threats.

• Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for APIs, including specifications, usage guides, and troubleshooting procedures.

• Collaboration: Collaborate with software developers, architects, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical expertise.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with MuleSoft's latest features, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve API design and development processes.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in MuleSoft development.

• Strong understanding of API development principles and best practices.

• Proficiency in configuring and managing the release process (P3 - Advanced).

• Knowledge of integration patterns and techniques.

• Familiarity with security protocols and measures for API protection.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Relevant certifications in MuleSoft are a plus.
