POSITION SUMMARY: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs and services required for all levels of personnel in the Perioperative Department to meet role expectations. A major focus of this position is to support the management team and work with the education team to orient and train new hires, in addition to promoting skill development activities and continuing education for all staff. Must be able to perform jobs in all patient care and operational areas subject to reasonable accommodations, also be able to employ all mandatory safety devices and procedures. Must participate in the Respiratory Protection Program, which may include the wearing of a respirator. This is a non union position. Salary Range: $51.88-$67.52/hourly

Requirements:

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (if pursuing BSN must obtain within one year of new hire/ transfer).

Experience: 3-5 years Perioperative Department experience. Preferred.

Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR). Preferred

Licenses/Certificates: Current California Registered Nurse License. Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
