This is a per diem/casual position ideally working one day per week from 7am-5:30pm. Additional shifts available based on need. Training will ideally be full time hours for two weeks. Located in La Jolla at the Anderson Medical Pavilion in the GI Lab.

What you'll do:
  • Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
  • Provides direct patient care to high acuity patients in a complex department within the scope of practice.
  • Engages in complex clinical procedures and may provide clinical assessments to surgical patients in the hospital setting.
  • Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.
  • Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.


Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Completion of accredited RN program
  • Minimum 1 year RN experience
  • Current CA RN License
  • BLS & ACLS through the American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 year procedural RN experience
  • Inpatient RN experience
  • GI Lab experience
  • BSN
