Responsibilities*
- Conduct comprehensive comparative analysis of four major simulation environments
- Utilize previously collected experimental data from Cassie and validate simulation results
- Investigate and formalize various methods for estimating angular velocity from encoder measurements
- Algorithm development for Bipedal Locomotion
- Lead efforts to publish research findings in top-tier robotics and automation journals
Required Qualifications*
- PhD in Robotics, Electrical Engineering or related field
- 1-3 years experience performing experiments on robots to validate theoretical ideas
- 1-3 years experience conducting out reach
- 1-3 years experience programming
