Job Overview

The Route Planning Analyst is responsible for ensuring all sales orders are planned effectively and efficiently across all modes of delivery for a given delivery date. The Route Planning Analyst optimizes the appropriate amount of delivery vehicles to meet internal resource availability and the external customer receiving hours. The Route Planning Analyst will schedule Wholesale Club deliveries and ARTM customers via customer-specific portals as necessary.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plans sales orders for a given delivery date across all modes of delivery - bulk, home market (OFS, CooLfit, Sideload), TelSell, and full service for optimal efficiencies and effectiveness while meeting the needs of the customers available times to receive
  • Utilization of multiple planning systems including SAP solutions and full-service predictive application (Easitrax)
  • Establishes and maintains communication and relationships across multiple distribution centers and points of contact. This would include delivery, warehouse, and sales functions
  • Maintains accurate documentation for a distribution center(s) such as customer-specific requirements, restrictions, points of contact, notes, and service level agreements
  • Participates in replanning preparation including sales order validation, reviewing special requests, and resource availability. Post planning processes include communicating and posting final delivery plans

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge acquired through up to 12 months of work experience
  • Valid driver's license
