Responsibilities

  • Manages all activities with regard to Life Safety and Environment of Care as prescribed by local, State, Federal, and industry regulation, including, but not limited to Infection Control Risk Assessment processes, Environmental Rounds, Hazardous Material and Waste disposal, publication and updating of Safety Manual, and committee membership as assigned by Department Director.
  • Directly responsible for all data entry and documentation retention associated with Life Safety codes and Environment of Care standards.

Qualifications

Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Valid Texas Driver's License
  • Five years hospital / healthcare related experience.
  • Three years hospital / healthcare safety related experience.

Preferred Job Requirements
  • Associates degree or higher in Business related field. May be substituted with related management experience.
