An Insight Global employer within our higher education portfolio is looking for a Safety Specialist to support its overall campus safety. This individual will be responsible for managing, developing and implementing Federal and California OSHA programs. These programs will specifically be designed for shop safety, cranes/hoists, fall protection, forklifts / heavy equipment and confined spaces. This person will also be responsible for auditing and ensuring supervisors are aware of different programs and are carrying out responsibilities of said programs. The safety specialist will ensure that supervisors are operating in accordance to programs by supplying them with training materials and/or dedicated trainers if necessary.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years experience implementing CAL OSHA programs
- 3-5 years experience as an Occupational Safety Specialist implementing federal OSHA programs
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health or related.
- Able to commute to campus 5 days per week
