D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Sales & Marketing Assistant. The right candidate will support the Sales and Marketing Departments by administering various tasks and projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Coordinate and schedule photography/video, rendering creation of floor plans, etc.
• Establish phone service in new communitie
• Responsible for collecting and reviewing all sales teams marketing plan submittals and following up to ensure marketing plans are activated
• Update digital information on community website
• Prepare quarterly sales awards and assist with sales competition
• Prepare for and help coordinate Sales Meetings, including ordering breakfast, meeting set up/clean up, tracking attendance
• Deliver supplies to field and model homes as needed
• Coordinate furniture delivery and staging to model home
• Work with the marketing coordinator/manager on community signage
• Work with the agents on all marketing promotions, grand openings, luncheons, and new phase
• Assist with brokerage tasks including review/scrub listings, adding/removing brokers, ensure all data is current and accurate
• Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
• Ability to work overtime
• Regular and reliable attendance

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- Six months to one year of related experience and/or training
- Must have a vehicle and a valid driver's license
- Ability to create graphic illustrations and marketing flyers in Illustrator and Canva
- Strong creative writing skills
- Ability to work well within a team and individually
- Exercise initiative and be proactive
- Possess strong organizational skills
- Provide attention to detail and manage multiple responsibilities
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
- Proficiency with MS Office and email, as well as Publisher, PowerPoint and Adobe Suite
- Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision
- The noise level is generally moderate
Preferred Qualifications
- Adobe Creative Suite experience - Photoshop and Illustrator preferred
