Job Summary

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities for the field sales executives. The SDR will manage inbound lead activity within their territory and conduct outbound prospecting to secure a sufficient flow of qualified opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Interact with prospects via telephone and email
• Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts to stimulate opportunity
• Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
• Become a trusted resource and develop superior relationships with prospects
• Schedule First Time Appointments (FTAs) for the field sales executives
• Achieve or exceed assigned monthly and annual FTA quotas
• Maintain required activity reporting in Paycor's CRM system

Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Up to 1 year applicable work experience
• Opportunity qualification and objection handling
• Ability to work in a high-energy sales team environment; team player
• Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills
• The highest level of integrity
• Proficient with standard corporate productivity tools (email, voicemail, MS Office)
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance, Marketing or Business

We also offer competitive compensation determined by each individual's relevant experience, skills, and education. We anticipate the base pay for this position to be between $16 - $24 per hour. In addition to base pay, Paycor Associates are eligible for either a performance-based annual bonus or commission, depending on their position.
