Slalom's Global Strategic Account Team is currently seeking a talented Sales Director to help transform the customer experience with one of Slalom's most strategic global clients within the technology industry. You will drive business results by building a well-managed, profitable, and growing book of business opportunities across the Strategic Account. You will help elevate Slalom's brand and impact across the organization and improve collaboration with the go-to market teams that work with this client as a strategic alliance partner.

The individual in this role will serve Slalom's clients as a trusted partner and will build and lead a dedicated sales team

What You'll Do
  • Originate, lead, and negotiate strategic opportunities with new and existing clients to create and sustain a diverse book of business within the account.
  • Responsible for achieving annual revenue targets, quarterly sales targets, and MBO's.
  • Lead and mentor the sales team on complex sales cycles and proposal processes.
  • Lead and secure multiple multi-market/global pursuits.
  • Offer insights and expertise on driving revenue growth at a global level, shaping strategies that yield significant financial results.
  • Act as a go-to resource for procurement strategy, escalations, resolving complex challenges and ensuring successful resolution and long-term mutual agreements.
  • Establish a robust network spanning clients, alliance partners, and internal leaders and facilitate connections to enhance professional circles.
  • Deliver high customer experience scores within the account through advocacy and innovation, consistently exceeding client expectations.
  • Leverage Slalom Sales platforms to partner with market and account leadership to define industry alignment and develop, manage, and forecast sales/revenue targets.
  • Amplify client outcomes and collect success testimonials, showcasing your dedication to fostering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Build and nurture executive-level relationships and facilitate connections among clients to enhance professional circles
  • Build a scalable and high performing OneSlalom Sales Engine that optimizes new customer origination while increasing cross sell opportunities within existing customers.

What You'll Bring
  • Strong values-based leadership with a proven track record in consultative, solution-based selling and exceeding multimillion-dollar sales and revenue targets.
  • Extensive experience in driving revenue growth within large global companies, enhancing the company's global presence, and are adept at managing multi-level sales teams.
  • Understanding of various contract types to maximize value and have a solid background in building out effective sales strategies, coaching teams on best practices for significant wins.
  • Expertise in 1:1 client procurement negotiations to secure favorable outcomes and partner with clients to understand needs, recommending valuable solutions.
  • Previous account management experience within technology or services/consulting sectors and skilled at fostering relationships with executive leaders (CXOs) and decision-makers.
  • Ability to lead teams through complex technology solution sales cycles encompassing budgeting, procurement, negotiations, and aligning strategies with market trends to refine target account plans.
  • Experience surpassing customer expectations by delivering exceptional client experiences and employing innovative strategies for pursuing and closing deals.
  • Industry insights to enhance strategic approaches to winning pursuits across various angles.

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom prides itself on helping team members thrive in their work and life. Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $159,000 to $255,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for quarterly and annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
