Crissair is looking for a Sales Engineering Manager to join our Business Development team.
Since its founding in 1954, Crissair, Inc. has manufactured quality precision components for nearly every airframe manufacturer and major subcontractor in the industry - both for military and commercial aircraft.

Summary
Responsible for selling new products by implementing sales and marketing plans. Must utilize technical knowledge and sales skills to provide customer support on entire range of Crissair's products and services.
Job Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other tasks and duties may be required as directed.
• Supports technical and commercial sales and marketing activities for the company.
• Must be an effective communicator.
• Performs analyses on sales and bookings, utilizing several factors such as volume, product mix, selling price, program build rates, market growth, etc.
• Performs customer and competitor analyses, and supports action plans as a result.
• Performs win/ loss analyses and supports action plans to improve win rate.
• Develops and regularly maintains active travel plans.
• Frequently travels to customers and tradeshows to build relationships, domestic and Int'l.
• Prepares thorough trip reports after each visit, and develops action plans as a result.
• Develops relationships with key customer personnel to better understand details related to wins/ losses and other important information.
• Works with upper management to develop comprehensive sales and marketing plans to support the business development and sales objectives of the organization.
• Works with upper management to support marketing functions for the company including but not limited to coordination and participation at trade shows and published materials.
• Works with Engineering and Manufacturing to identify new opportunities for the company.
• Assists in the presentation of complete proposal packages.
• Acts as a liaison between production control and customer service to ensure the company is providing the most effective service possible.
• Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; etc.
• Able to read and understand Crissair and customer drawings and specifications.
Qualification Requirements
Education/Experience
• Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university and a minimum of 5 years of related experience in Aerospace and Defense.
Language Skills
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
• Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
• Ability to effectively present information to top management, employees, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Math Skills
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plain and solid geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Skills
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer/ Technical/Office Skills
• Microsoft windows/internet browser
• ERP/Inventory
• Payroll
• Microsoft - Excel, Word, PowerPoint (Excel and PowerPoint skills must be very strong)
