A client in the Richmond, VA area has become Virginia's Largest Wholesaler of Appliances and is looking for a Sales Manager to join their team within the construction industry. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing customer relationships, and achieving revenue targets. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the construction industry and a proven track record of success in sales management.
* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets and expand market share in the construction industry.
* Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to maximize their performance and achieve sales goals.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting potential clients, building relationships, and attending industry events.
* Build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including customers, contractors, and industry professionals.

Required Skills & Experience
Must-haves:
- 3+ years' experience in Sales management, Account Executive, Account Management, or related role.
- Previous sales experience within the Construction industry (Commercial or Residential)
- Willingness to meet clients at Construction & Business sites as needed
- Experience exhibiting strong leadership capabilities while overseeing sales representatives, account executives, etc.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Pluses:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Construction Management, or a related field is a plus
