Description

Help support our nation's Veterans by joining our high-performance, financial technology team. SAIC is looking for a talented Salesforce Architect to join our team. This position requires competence in Information Technology (IT), Enterprise Architecture, Capital planning, IT investment management, Systems Development Life Cycle Management (SDLCM), and business process re-engineering. Provides advice and guidance regarding the design, development, operation, and support of complex Information Technology systems or processes. Veterans are encouraged to apply.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Hands-on Salesforce Architect with development background (LWC, Flows, APEX, REST), ability to provide best practice recommendations on the development, architecture, and deployment.
  • Experience with leading and guiding multiple teams to include Development team, Business, Technology, Network Infrastructure, Data Analytics and application security teams to implement the FSC Vision, Mission Goals, Objectives and Business Strategy, and help lead the translation of the business strategy into a technical strategy.
  • Expertise in Salesforce data modeling and normalization.
  • Experience in creating architecture diagrams along with the technical design documentation.
  • Ability to present the design to the Salesforce architecture board to get the approval for the deployment.
  • Experience in Salesforce CRM, Sales, Services, Community and Digital Experience cloud.
  • Experience in CRM Analytics, Tableau development and recommendations.
  • Experience in MuleSoft integration and API development background for SharePoint, MS SQL, File System.
  • Design the organization strategy and data model for a Salesforce implementation.
  • Technical solutions in place for identity and access, implement data and process integrations, and design solutions that account for large data volumes and data privacy needs.
  • Be able lead and collaborate on architecture design principles and define standards for the same.
  • Drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes.
  • Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
  • Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business.
  • Provide constructive on-the-job feedback/coachSaing to team members.
  • Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment.
  • Understand assigned clients and their service lines and actively assess/present ways to improve.
Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Understanding of the out-of-box Salesforce product suite, including Service, Community Cloud (Experience Cloud), App Cloud, and Einstein solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Project Intake, Solution Architecture, SAFe Agility, SDLCM, transition planning, risk analysis, alternative analysis, and performance management.
  • Knowledge of the Veterans Affairs Architecture Framework (VAAF), Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA), Federal Segment Architecture Methodology (FSAM) and Frameworks.
  • Knowledge of financial payroll and accounting systems, electronic healthcare, and financial claims processing.
  • In-depth knowledge of working with SharePoint and PowerPoint documents.
  • ServiceNow ITIL and incident management exposure is recommended.
  • Hands-on experience producing Business Enterprise Architecture Assessments with business requirements, high level technical solution, cost estimate, resource requirements, security, and proposal options.
  • Knowledge of Pega Framework with Java, .Net, Enterprise Service Bus, Web Services and API exposure is recommended.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in System, Data, Security, Infrastructure, AWS, Azure and Hybrid Cloud, and Technology Architecture Domain.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in establishing Architecture Domain Diagrams, and Best Practices for Salesforce Architecture and Design.
  • Demonstrate deep technical capabilities and professional knowledge.
  • Demonstrate ability to quickly assimilate to new knowledge.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems/Technology or engineering discipline preferred. 6 + years of relevant experience may be substituted for education.
  • 8 - years relevant experience required.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Salesforce Architect required.
  • Salesforce Architect Certification highly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and team skills.
  • Attention to detail and excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Capable to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance based on the Department of Veteran Affair's regulations.
Target salary range: $155,001 - $165,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
