Position Title: Coronado Tennis Professional

Position Overview: Impact Activities is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Professional Tennis Coach to join our team as an independent contractor. The ideal candidate will have a strong tennis background, be passionate about junior player development, and excel in providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a proactive, outgoing, and professional individual who is committed to fostering a positive and engaging environment for players of all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Private and group coaching sessions.
• Foster a friendly and supportive atmosphere that encourages player growth and enjoyment of the game.
• Organize and run tennis programs, clinics, camps, and tournaments.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all players during coaching sessions.
• Collaborate with other coaches and staff to promote a cohesive and dynamic coaching environment.
• Maintain all appropriate paperwork required by Impact Activities and the City of Coronado.

Qualifications:

• Strong tennis background with proven coaching experience.
• Passionate about player development and helping individuals achieve their potential.
• Friendly, proactive, and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
• Professional demeanor with a commitment to high standards of customer service.
• Ability to work effectively with players of all ages and skill levels.
• Enthusiastic and dedicated to continuous professional development.
• Current certification from USPTA.
• Safe Play approved.
• Must be able and willing to coach 10 & under junior programs.
• Must be available for up to 15 hours of junior tennis programming per week.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation depends on qualifications and experience level. Percentage take for private lessons. Per hour rate for programs run and organized by Impact Activities.
