SAP FICO Financial Systems Analyst

A client is looking for an SAP Financial Systems Analyst to work on a 6-month contract to hire. This person will be primarily responsible for supporting, maintaining, troubleshooting, working through tickets, providing user support, work on enhancements, reporting, provide upgrades, etc. to the core SAP FICO finance modules (SAP Product Costing integration, PP, SD, MM, etc.). S/He will be working through about 100 tickets/ month and about 80% would be maintenance and operations and 20% would be project driven support. Additionally, they will support the implementation and configuration of SAP Finance and Controlling solutions and provide expertise in resolving issues with finance applications like Concur, Vertex & OpenText etc. And they will be responsible for the full systems development lifecycle from requirements gathering through configuration, interaction with the development team, testing, training, deployment, documentation of solutions, and post go-live support. This person will be working closely with a team, so collaboration and strong communication are imperative for success.

Required Skills & Experience

o 5 years of experience working with SAP FICO Finance and Controlling Modules
o A minimum of 1 or 2 life cycle implementations of SAP ECC 6 or S4 HANA
o Experience in managing S4 HANA, Concur, Vertex or SAP BPC/BW
o Experience in several, if not all, of the following SAP FICO sub-modules desired; General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Profit center accounting, cost center accounting, product costing, internal orders, and Profitability Analysis
o Must have experience with and understand many standard business processes and the SAP functionality that supports a manufacturing plant, with a focus on FICO
o Expertise in integration with Materials Management, Transportation Management, Sales and Distribution, Payroll & Human resources modules.
o Excellent written and verbal communication
o Strong team collaboration

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

o Bachelors Degree with an emphasis in IS, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience and training.
o Project management experience
o Knowledgeable in current Finance policies, practices, and ability to anticipate future trends affecting the business from a systems and process perspective.
