Baer is looking for SAP Finance (FI) Functional Lead for a 6+ month project located in Atlanta, GA.

Title: SAP Finance (FI) Functional Lead
Location: Hybrid - Local To Atlanta, GA Required
Duration: 6 months
Rate: All-inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C (Vendors Not Permitted)

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact for the relevant business unit regarding all SAP system activities.
• Collaborate with business leads to resolve application issues, identify areas for system improvement, and assist in process enhancements related to the operations of the SAP solution.
• Serve as a liaison within the SAP Center of Excellence (CoE) and business units to provide support for SAP applications specific to the area of support.
• Work with business teams to resolve issues related to SAP systems or processes.
• Identify opportunities for system and process improvements in collaboration with the business.
• Coordinate with the internal SAP team and AMS for break/fix solutions or enhancements to the SAP system.
• Manage all necessary configurations to support ongoing business functions.
• Ensure functional correctness and test the integration of SAP solutions with other applications.
• Maintain centralized documentation and Configuration Management of SAP solutions, adhering to SAP Standards for Solution Documentation.
• Support processes associated with SAP.
• Update IT Operations procedural documentation and Operations Handbooks for monitoring, managing data consistency, job management, and data growth management.
• Provide input for the setup and creation of individual transports.
• Analyze reported problems and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with S4HANA-ECC in FI specifically.
• Ability to work effectively with Finance and Accounting teams.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead on systems enhancements and issues.
• Functional and technical understanding of implemented business processes.
• Ability to adjust priorities in rapidly changing environments and work well under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas and designs to a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work and collaborate with other technology groups to support the SAP landscape.
• Exemplary troubleshooting skills and the ability to drive root cause analysis on incidents and problems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent SAP experience.
