Position Summary

This a full-time, entry-level position perfect for a first or second-year student pursuing a degree in business or data analytics who possess a keen eye for detail and a passion for data integrity.

In this role, you will collect, review, and input essential project data, audit output for accuracy, and analyze trends to provide insightful reports. Your findings will be integral in scheduling within our Primavera 6 (P6) or Microsoft Project databases, contributing to the seamless execution of our projects. Additionally, you'll maintain procedural lists and processes, ensuring our data management standards are upheld.

Duties & Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL
  • Collect and schedule data into Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Access databases to support all projects.
  • Review the new and existing data, correcting, updating data or schedules when necessary to support all projects.
  • Maintain accurate database and schedule records.
  • Provide reports on various topics to the Scheduling Supervisor.
  • Compile statistical reports and Earned Value related data for all projects.
  • Coordinate between the Finance Office and Projects to ensure accuracy of data, project cost.
  • Assist with verification and editing of input and output of schedule data.
  • Maintain records of various tasks related to the job.
  • Assist in the development of databases, maintenance, and other data-keeping tools, SharePoint Assistant.
  • Assist in development and maintenance of standard guides and Process Instructions pertaining to the Program Management Office.
  • Backfill for the front desk when needed.
  • Attend project meetings.
  • A wide degree of latitude and creativity is required.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • One year of relevant post-high school education and 1-2 years of experience in data management and analysis.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel.
  • Project scheduling understanding and the aptitude to learn and become proficient using Primavera 6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Dependable team player with excellent time-management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Consistently maintains a good attendance record, effectively plans, and has a strong track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively coordinate with customers.
  • Proactive and eager to learn new skills, share knowledge, and take on roles with increasing responsibility.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance issued by the U.S. DoD.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen who is not a dual citizen of any other country.
