About this Role:
Under the general direction of the Eligibility Applications and Support Branch Chief, the Information Technology Manager I (ITM I) performs functions in the domains of Business Technology Management, Client Services, IT Project Management, and components of Software Engineering. The ITM I manages the Business Applications Section (BAS) and is responsible for providing direction, leadership, and team building to the various units within the section. The ITM I collaborates with and provides support to all areas within the Department, which can include sections within their branch, other branches within the Division, and Program areas. The section manager fosters partnerships with customers and stake holders while supporting the vision, mission, and objectives of the Department.

Working Conditions

Knowledge and experience in quality assurance, maintenance and customer support of legacy mainframe and new technology are a must. Knowledge of DHCS' departmental programs and budgetary process are desirables.
