Security Analyst

- Our client is a Fortune 100 telecommunications company, and their IP Video Operations team built a NextGen cDVR platform in a short period time. This group is on the operations side, and the team will be partnering closely with a lab environment to ensure the platform is secure and fully ready for a production environment going live to subscribers.
- Monitor and respond to real-time threat information and provide security support.
- Collaborating closely with the organization's security team to develop and implement security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
- Manage OS and certificate compliance with security teams
- Analyze security logs, alerts, and other data generated by the SIEM system to detect and investigate potential security threats or incidents.
- Analyze and interpret vulnerability scan results to identify potential security risks.
- Provide timely and accurate reports on security activities, trends, and metrics to leadership and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5-7+ years of security experience
- SIEM tools Splunk, Arcsight, Qualys, etc.
- Firewalls & VPNs
- Familiarity with securing cloud environments
- Penetration tests

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- CISM certification
