Security Infrastructure Engineer

One of Insight Global's largest Telecom clients is looking for a Sr. Security Infrastructure Engineer to join their Consulting Services Organization. Your responsibilities include problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, and solution deployment. Viewed by customers as a subject matter expert, your performance is measured by delivery of agreed solutions within budgeted hours. You will work on problems of complex scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. You will also document (textual and graphical as appropriate), communicate, recommend and take appropriate action to resolve, risks and issues associated with security vulnerabilities across the Customer IT Environment. The ideal candidate has experience in a customer facing role with the ability to to assess security devices and tighten security controls. This resource should be able to work with minimal supervision as both an individual contributor and part of a team. Strong communication and analytical skills are key for this role.

Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of technical experience, with at least 5+ within security services.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience installing, implementing and configuring Checkpoint, Fortinet, or Palo Alto Firewalls
- Experience with Nipper or similar analytical tools.
- Extensive experience managing firewall rules and policies, including management of URL whitelists
- Strong security experience of both Windows & Linux Servers
- Experience generating vulnerability and compliance assessments
- Experience in a consulting/customer facing role in a global and/or enterprise environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with ZeroTrust
- Experience with Prisma Cloud
- Checkpoint, Fortinet and Palo Alto Certifications (Ex. PCNSE)
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSE, etc.
- Experience with several of the following technologies: Juniper Pulse VPN, Aruba Via, F5 load balancers, Blue Coat proxy, HPE, Aruba switches, and Aruba WLC
