We're hiring a Security Shift Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll supervise and direct security staff to help ensure effective and efficient security operations. Additionally, you'll:
  • Serve as a leader for employees while encouraging teamwork, employee morale, motivation, and open communication.
  • Instruct, train, and monitor officers in their daily duties including customer and employee relations, report writing, handling company funds, and critical incident management.
  • Monitor incident reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Initiate investigation processes cooperating with law enforcement agencies as appropriate.
  • Supervise, train, and coordinate staff to ensure compliance with all MotorCity policies and regulations.
  • Provide exceptional service to all guests.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Two years of security experience (or other alternative deemed appropriate).
  • Three years supervisory experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an occupational license with the Michigan Gaming Control Board.
  • Strong leadership, supervisory, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
